Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a variety of food and grocery products, including moving items from pallets to their correct locations.

This role supports store readiness and customer satisfaction by maintaining accurate shelf placement and back-room organization. You will work with leadership to complete assigned areas on time, keep a clean and safe workspace, and engage with customers when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized, efficient and process-driven.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back‑room areas.
• Coordinate with leadership to complete areas on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
