Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker to support the Grocery department during the overnight hours. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure backroom organization to keep shelves ready for morning customers.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. The role involves physical activity, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working as part of a collaborative overnight team.

Qualifications

• You don’t need prior experience; training provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find products.
• Assist customers with reaching items and carrying purchases.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and keep backroom organized.
• Monitor for mis-picked items, outs, and incorrect deliveries and report issues.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock and notify scanning coordinator of new items.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth overnight operation.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and store policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
