Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Retail Stock Associate to join Family Fare in Michigan. The role emphasizes displaying and stocking merchandise, ensuring guest experience, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

You will work independently to receive, merchandise, and restock, while following PPE, food safety, and guest service guidelines. Prior retail experience and basic math are a plus. This is a part-time, on-site position in St. Ignace, MI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on the sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Be familiar with all products carried in the departments and know product locations.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to work independently to display and stock products; to ensure that you contribute to the financial best interest of the store. Additionally, this role is responsible for meeting company guidelines for guest experience, as well as complying with company guidelines for safety and food safety.
