Job summary

KLN Family Brands is seeking a Night Shift Starchless Kitchen Technician in Perham, MN to operate the starchless Mogul and ensure product quality and sanitation. You will mix and dose ingredients, regulate operations, and coordinate with QC and inventory to meet production schedules.

Expect an all-in hourly rate of $26.19, base $22.70, plus a $1.22 sign-on per hour worked and a $2.27 night-differential, with profit sharing eligibility after one year. Benefits include PTO, holidays, and more.

Responsibilities

• Operate Starchless Cooking System.
• Mix, add, regulate and disperse ingredients to starchless Mogul.
• Communicate with Starchless Mogul Operator for product transfer.
• Follow Production Schedule to complete orders.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to keep product in spec.
• Coordinate with Inventory/Warehouse to ensure proper ingredients.
• Perform cleanouts and prevent cross contamination.
• Maintain inventory and sanitation duties.
• Fill out required paperwork for Dietary Supplements.
• Adhere to all company and regulatory requirements.
• Test and monitor equipment for proper dosing.

Hours: 10:40pm - 7:00am (Monday - Friday)

Compensation

• All in hourly compensation: $26.19/hr
• Base Pay: $22.70/hr
• Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
• 10% Shift Differential for Night Shift: $2.27/hr
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Night Shift Starchless Kitchen Technician to operate starchless cooking system. Mix all formulations of products correctly and ensure all quality, food safety, and sanitation practices are completed appropriately and according to standards. This position is responsible for the mixing, adding, regulating and dispersing all ingredients and additives to the starchless Mogul.

Essential Duties

• Communicate with Starchless Mogul Operator to ensure a harmonious transfer of product.
• Complete orders by following Production Schedule.
• Communicate with Quality Control to ensure all product produced is in spec.
• Communicate with Inventory Control/Warehouse to ensure proper ingredients are used.
• Operate Starchless Cooking System.
• Operate all supplemental equipment associated with the Cook/Dosing area.
• Responsible for all cleanouts and ensure no cross contamination happens.
• Inventory and sanitation duties
• Fill out all appropriate paperwork for Dietary Supplements properly.
• Must adhere to all company and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for the testing and monitoring of the equipment to ensure proper dosing.
