Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking dedicated Stand-up Forklift Operator and Walkie Rider for a food and snack distribution center in Avon. The role requires operating stand-up forklifts and Walkie Rider equipment to move and count merchandise efficiently, with overtime possible on the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am).

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of warehouse forklift experience and a HS Diploma or GED, with strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience operating stand-up forklifts and Walkie Rider in a warehouse setting.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork orientation.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts and Walkie Rider to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise safely.
• Load and unload goods accurately following safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily goals and deadlines.
