Job summary

Sleep RX LLC in the Hudson Valley is seeking an experienced Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a full-time night shift in Vassar, NY. The role involves performing diagnostic sleep studies and providing patient care during overnight hours.

Shift: 8:00 PM–6:00 AM. Pay ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, PTO, and more. Candidates must hold an RPSGT, state licensure, and BCLS certification to qualify.

Qualifications

• Must be a RPSGT to qualify for this position and have a current state licensure.
• Shift: Overnights 8:00 PM–6:00 AM.
• Education: High school diploma or higher; completion of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Prior experience as an RPSGT.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
• Authorization to work in the United States (E-Verify participation).

Responsibilities

• Testing and Data Collection: Facilitate polysomnographic tests and collect accurate data.
• Equipment Preparation: Prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, sensors, and airway pressure masks per established protocols.
• Monitoring and Recording: Record patient activities, monitor study quality, and document clinical events (e.g., respiratory and cardiac episodes).
• Data Analysis: Score clinical events and tabulate data for physician review.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and laboratory protocols.
