Job summary

Young Electric Sign Company in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Night Patroller to survey a predetermined route for sign and lighting outages and service issues.

You will document outages with photos, note details, and relay findings to the supervisor and other departments, while maintaining logs and performing vehicle maintenance. This is a part-time position requiring a valid driver’s license and basic reading/writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to drive an automobile.
• Ability to communicate in person.

Responsibilities

• Drive an automobile around a predetermined route to survey the repair and service needs of sign and lighting components.
• Documents outages by taking pictures and notating other details per established procedures.
• Relays information to other departments, store managers, and/or owners.
• Maintains records and logbooks.
• Performs cleaning, preventative, and operator maintenance on YESCO vehicles.
