Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a shipping/warehouse associate responsible for manually transporting product, preparing required paperwork, and assisting with inventory. You will work in compliance with NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all applicable policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include moving product with hand carts or pallet jacks, labeling and wrapping for shipping, scanning pallets, verifying paperwork, and supporting inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping is a plus.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Transport product using hand carts, pallet jacks, etc.; follow all safety protocols.
• Ensure all product is labeled, stacked and wrapped correctly for shipping.
• Scan and track pallets from production to cooler.
• Correctly verify and process required paperwork.
• Assist with verifying accurate inventory counts as needed.
• Follow company policies and Animal Welfare Guidelines and all laws and regulations.
