Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is hiring a Waterpark Third Shift Cleaner to thoroughly clean waterpark areas, restrooms, and public spaces after hours. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and rapid response to hazards in a high-energy environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or related experience, be able to work overnight shifts including weekends, and uphold Kalahari's standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
• Ability to work overnight/third shift, including weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on operational needs.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to identify and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing time and completing assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Must be 18 years of age at date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Cleanliness of all general areas within the Waterpark, cabanas and restrooms during closing and after hours.
• Being alert and regularly inspecting restrooms and general areas for any hazards or safety risks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in public restrooms.
• Washdown of walkways, restroom floors and general areas of the Waterpark.
• Physical stamina and endurance to perform duties in an active, high-energy environment.
