Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water Operator I for the night shift to support our water treatment and plant operations in our Georgia facilities. This role involves monitoring equipment, performing tests, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe work environment.

Licensed operators are preferred, but candidates with process control, industrial operations, maintenance, or related science backgrounds will be considered. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Water/Wastewater Operator License preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience valued.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving and safety mindset; valid driver's license (CDL preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate water treatment equipment, pumps, motors, valves, and related systems.
• Perform routine testing, sampling, inspections, and basic laboratory analyses.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair treatment equipment and instrumentation.
• Document operational data and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and support plant operations as needed.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and secure facility.

Education
