Job summary

Sheehan Family Companies is seeking a full-time Night Warehouse Forklift Operator/Order Selector in our NY operations department. The role involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and building orders for retail deliveries, using a pallet jack and forklift with a voice-pick system.

The schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 9pm-5am; the team emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficiency, with in-house training and a strong benefits package including insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience a plus, but not necessary as we train in-house.
• Ability and willingness to become certified on forklift operations.
• Must be able to learn voice pick system and work independently.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks.
• Stock shelves & rollers as required.
• Operate an electric and hydraulic pallet jack, and forklift.
• Build orders for retail account delivery.
• Verify that trucks have been loaded properly.
• Sweep, stack empty pallets, and pick up stretch wrap, and dump trash barrels throughout warehouse.
• Level off pallets on load line and ensure products are left in proper location.
• Other duties as assigned.
