Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Delivery Material Handler in Houston to load trucks, lift and move products, stack pallets and maintain a safe work area. Safety is a priority as you follow procedures and contribute to the Staples Supply Chain.

Basic English is required; 3+ months warehouse experience and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds are essential. Overtime may be needed and a drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• 3+ months related experience in a warehouse or equivalent training.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite shoes.
• Walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with products for delivery.
• Lift, lower and carry products in a fast-paced environment.
• Stack empty pallets and maintain a safe, clean workspace.
• Follow safety procedures and embrace safety culture.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success when delivering to customers.
