Job summary
Publix Super Markets Distribution is seeking Warehouse Forklift Operators to move cases and pallets within Publix’s warehouses. You will operate powered industrial equipment, stock reserve locations, and replenish pick locations while rotating inventory and helping maintain a clean, safe warehouse.
The role requires lifting up to 67 pounds, night and weekend availability, and forklift and pallet truck certification by start date.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old (19+ in Alabama)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Must obtain pallet truck and forklift certification by start date
- Able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds
- Able to sit or stand for long periods and to bend, stoop and twist
- Able to operate a pallet truck or forklift with body within the operator area
- Able to read, write, identify and verify numbers and follow instructions
Responsibilities
- Maneuver powered industrial equipment to move cases and pallets
- Move product from receiving dock to reserve locations
- Replenish pick locations as needed from reserve locations
- Rotate inventory using oldest stock first
- Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and assist with other duties as needed
