Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking General Warehouse Associates for the 3rd shift (10p-6:30a) at our Joliet distribution center. You will load/unload trailers, move merchandise and operate power lift equipment to support efficient distribution operations.

Responsibilities include auditing merchandise, labeling and palletizing for relocation, replenishing pick areas, and processing orders to ensure accuracy. Full-time positions with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 70lbs.
• Adapt to job duty and department changes as required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise.
• Check, verify and audit merchandise and enter data into remote data terminals.
• Identify, separate, label and palletize merchandise for relocation within the distribution center.
• Operate power lift equipment to move and store merchandise.
• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or by requests for needed merchandise.
• Fill merchandise orders by moving items from active location to conveyor or to pallet/box for shipment.
• Load merchandise onto trailers and ensure correct loading and documentation.
• Inspect shipments for accuracy and damage before loading onto trailers.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Support department needs as distribution center requirements change.
