Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking a General Warehouse Associate for the Hayward, CA area. The role involves supporting multiple distribution center functions including picking, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, and inventory replenishment.

You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory, assist with staging and loading orders for customer deliveries, and inspect incoming goods for quality issues. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• experience in multiple distribution center departments is preferred.
• Prior experience operating material handling equipment is desired.
• Able to understand written material and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Works in multiple DC departments: case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, replenishment.
• Operates material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery.
• Verifies quantities and quality of incoming products from vendors/distribution centers.
• Uses packing lists to collect items for orders and builds pallets.
• Inspects stock and notifies management of inventory issues.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment per policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
