Job summary

Core-Mark International in Plainfield, IN is hiring a Warehouse Worker to support shipping and receiving within the distribution center. You will operate forklifts, pick orders, and maintain accurate inventory while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in cooler, freezer and dry environments.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general warehouse duties including forklift put-away, let-downs, will-call selection, returns, sanitation, pallet wrapping, order selection, loading and receiving.
• Keeps work area safe and clean; reports unsafe conditions immediately.
• Performs daily safety checks on forklift/pallet jack.
• Conducts damage checks on items received and coordinates with supervisor for disposition.
• Follows safety policies and uses necessary PPE.
• Reviews schedules and daily production paperwork in preparation for operations.
• Secures equipment and completes all required paperwork.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
