Job summary

Sysco in Holliston, MA is seeking a warehouse associate to handle receiving, stocking, prep and shipping of merchandise for local and outlying areas.

You will operate forklifts and RF systems, pick items to order, prepare shipments and ensure product quality while following safety and vendor standards. This is a full-time role with standard evening shifts and potential overtime based on demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift/pallet jack and cherry picker; ability to lift 40-60 pounds repeatedly each shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, climb, stand and twist for extended periods of time.
• Ability to successfully complete forklift training/certification requirements.
• Ability to operate Voice to Pick System or RF system.

Responsibilities

• Accurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot and confirm the correct quantity and unit of measure.
• Load Merchandise into appropriate truck.
• Drop merchandise for "reserve" to "pick" slots.
• Prepare VIA merchandise for shipment on freight lines.
• Repack loose merchandise for shipping/delivery.
• Verify quality of product, packaging and adherence to vendor compliance policy.
• Accurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard, “Preferred Method Standard”.
