Job summary

ASSA ABLOY’s Ameristar Perimeter Security USA in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Unloader for a 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 5:00pm–3:30am). You will check incoming materials, keep the work area clean, and ensure materials meet quality standards.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, basic math, and 6 months in manufacturing. You must stand for long periods and be able to reject nonconforming parts while following written and verbal instructions, with a focus on safety and housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
• Must have strong verbal communication skills.
• Have basic math skills.
• Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
• Must be able to stand at work station for a long period of time.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
• Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
• Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
• Good understanding of quality control.
