Job summary

Merrill Gardens at Campbell is seeking a compassionate Universal Worker for the 11pm–7am shift to support residents on their wellness journey in a community that values dignity and individuality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of housekeeping experience in a similar environment preferred.
• Meet background check and specific requirements upon request.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as defrosting refrigerators, replacing light bulbs and A/C filters, and checking safety equipment.
• Maintain and repair common areas, walls, floors, doors, windows, furniture, and woodwork.
• Repair vacated rooms promptly; repaint walls and clean carpets as needed.
• Perform in-unit and common area plumbing, minor electrical work, and document safety issues.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety training; respond to accidents per protocol.
• Paint common areas and vacant apartments.
• Handle housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, stocks, and dining setup.
• Assist with resident papers, mailings, and office tasks.
