Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals hires an experienced RN for a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department night shift in Indianapolis, IN. The 13-week assignment runs 19:00–07:30, with 3x12-hour nights and a 36-hour work week, requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Active IN or Compact RN license and minimum 2 years of experience are required; Nursys verification within 30 days is mandatory. TNCC and NIH Stroke Certification are preferred, CPI training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA required.
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
• Ascension Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
