Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position on a surgical unit in Baltimore, MD. Requires MD or compact RN license and recent surgical Med/Surg experience. Pay package based on 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipends and reimbursements.

Travel, housing, and comprehensive benefits included; Epic EMR experience preferred. Local candidates receive the same pay rate where allowed by facility; holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Active MD or compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of Med/Surg experience on a surgical unit.
• Experience in facilities with 500+ beds.
• Prior Epic EMR experience.
• Travel and Licensure Reimbursements.
• Non-taxed per diem and subsidy.

Responsibilities

• Work on a hospital-based surgical medical-surgical unit.
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Required to work every other weekend.
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the unit.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Uses Epic EMR for documentation.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult surgical patients.
• Team-oriented environment with unit staff support.
• Local candidates eligible for the same pay rate, except where specified by facility.
• Holiday schedule participation is required.
