Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Louisiana. The shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 12-hour nights and a 3-shift per week schedule, working in Med Surg/Telemetry units with heart caths equipment.

Candidates must hold a Louisiana or compact license, have 2 years of recent nursing experience including 12 months in Med Surg/Telemetry, 3 months Meditech, and 9 months acute care, with the ability to float across units and locations.

Qualifications

• Louisiana license or compact license required for submission.
• Travel only; local not allowed.
• Must live >50 miles from facility.
• 3 months of Meditech experience required.
• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of nursing experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Med Surg/Telemetry units, including heart caths and telemetry monitoring.
• Float to additional units and locations as needed.
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; every other weekend or 2 full weekends per month.
• 12-hour shifts; 3 shifts per week; 13-week assignment.
