American Traveler is seeking a night-shift CT Technologist for a travel assignment in New York, NY. The role features a dual CT/X-ray orthopedic focus in a hospital setting with pediatric to geriatric patients.

Requirements include ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications, BLS, NY license, and a minimum of 2 years in a dual CT/X-ray role. Training occurs during the first two weeks before moving to nights.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required.
• BLS certification required.
• NYS license with IV certification required (if applicable).
• NY Department of Health certification required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a dual CT/X-ray role.
• Experience operating Siemens CT equipment.
• Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment over 150 pounds.
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams in exam rooms and via portable equipment for orthopedic cases.
• Work independently overnight due to low patient volume.
• Rotate between hospital departments and an off-site private sector facility.
• CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTA and multiplanar reconstruction.
• X-ray procedures include extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal imaging.
• Use Siemens CT equipment, portable X-ray units, and OR/C-arm.
• Epic charting systems are preferred for documentation.
