Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of MRI experience, ARRT MR and BLS certifications, and is able to work 12-hour night shifts. Travel experience and NC or Compact license (or pending) are required.

The role uses GE and Siemens MRI systems, Epic for documentation, and may rotate across units with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI tech experience.
• Prior travel experience required.
• ARRT MR and BLS certification required.
• NC or Compact license if applicable; pending license accepted at submission.
• Recent hospital experience required.
• Experience with abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and MSK imaging.
• Proficiency in diffusion, gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRPs, peripheral MRA, spin echo images, surface coils, T1/T2 weighting, and CINE.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging across adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment and document in Epic.
• Rotate across units including NHRMC Ortho and main hospital as needed.
• No on-call requirements during assignment.
