Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool night shift. Requires at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and prior travel assignment history, with an active CT or Compact RN license and current BLS.

The role supports Med/Surg units in a float pool, covering adult and geriatric patients during night shifts (19:00–07:30). Familiarity with Omnicell, Cerner, and SBAR is expected; references are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active CT or Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Experience with blood product administration.

Responsibilities

• Float pool position supporting Med/Surg units.
• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-07:30.
• 36 or 48 hour weekly shift options available.
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system.
• SBAR communication system utilized.
• Provide direct patient care across Med/Surg units as part of a float pool team.
