Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Templeton, CA. The contract runs for 18 weeks with a start date of 09/28/2026, offering nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 3x12s, and rotating shifts. Pay ranges from $2,607 to $2,745 weekly, with 36 guaranteed hours.

Requires EPIC experience and CA RN licensure. Responsibilities include antepartum to postpartum care, fetal/metal monitoring, pain management, patient education, and collaboration with the health care team to maintain

Qualifications

Active RN license in CA.
ADN required; BSN preferred.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and advanced fetal monitoring credentials required.
Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience.
EPIC EMR experience; no on-call required.
Ability to work nights and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including emergencies and C-Section circulating.
Assess maternal/fetal status and manage perinatal complications.
Develop and implement multidisciplinary care plans with documentation.
Manage pain control and epidural placement when appropriate.
Educate families using developmentally appropriate methods.
Supervise staff within LDRP model to ensure patient safety.
