Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for an assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. This RN will join a fast-paced ER team, providing critical care during nights with 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience and relevant certifications. Responsibilities include triage, assessment, documentation, patient teaching and coordinating care with physicians and team members in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent acute care experience in ER settings.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH and CPI certifications are required.
• Ability to work a fast-paced, night-shift travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Document medical history, allergies and patient vitals.
• Monitor emotional and physical well‑being of patients; provide bedside care.
• Assist with minor procedures and maintain supplies and equipment.
