Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift in Colorado. Valid CO or compact license and at least 2 years ER experience are required, with specific certifications and capabilities in airway management and critical care support.

The assignment involves a 50-bed ED, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and night hours 19:00-07:30 with some weekend work and no on-call requirements. EPIC charting and potential cross-facility travel are included.

Qualifications

• Active RN license CO or Compact currently held.
• Minimum 2 years ER experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NIHSS (AHAs).
• Experience with IV therapy, arterial line management and respiratory care.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care including triage and med administration.
• Care for 50-bed ED with 1:4 patient ratios during night shift.
• Floats within scope to sister facilities as needed.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
