Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in New York, requiring ARRT certification and at least 2 years of CT experience.

This hospital-based position uses Siemens Definition AS CT scanner with Epic EMR and Visage PACS; night shifts include 6p–7a on Mon-Wed, with a 10p–7a option supported by an imaging aide, and there are travel housing benefits available.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• NYS license
• NYS license to inject
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Must scan independently and demonstrate full competency in CT exams for ER patients
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based CT department serving ER patients
• Performs all CT exams except specialty studies such as virtual colonoscopy and cardiac CT
• Night shift schedule Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday from 6p-7a
• Midnight technologist works independently from 10p-7a with support from an imaging aide for patient transport
• Uses Siemens Definition AS CT scanner
• Epic EMR and Visage PACS system
• Christmas holiday coverage preferred
• This location does not accept local candidates
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for this facility
