Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Lubbock, TX to lead a driver and navigator team for the new distribution center. You will ensure safe, efficient outbound distribution while meeting KPIs and coordinating with the DC Leadership Team.

The role requires 5+ years in private fleet ops, knowledge of food service distribution, and strong leadership, with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience with private fleet operations.
• Knowledge of food service distribution, outbound transportation procedures, equipment, and performance metrics.
• Working knowledge of supply chain innovations and warehouse operations.
• Ability to comply with safety standards, quality specs, and governmental requirements.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and schedule a dynamic team responsible for outbound distribution tasks.
• Optimize driver/route assignments while adhering to DOT guidelines.
• Troubleshoot delivery issues and conduct delivery audits for performance.
• Process trip reports and related documentation; monitor payroll and expenditures.
• Support budget management of outbound transportation at the DC.
• Collaborate with store Operators to align DC and restaurant operations.
