Job summary

TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION SERVICES IN in Brundidge, AL is hiring an entry-level Diesel & Trailer Technician. You’ll join a dedicated service team to perform preventative maintenance, DOT/FHWA inspections, and repairs on trailers and reefers.

Responsibilities include electrical/ABS troubleshooting, tire/brake/suspension work, and some welding. Night shifts offer a $2/hour differential; PTO begins on day one, and health benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Team player mindset and professional attitude required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers.
• Handle DOT/FHWA inspections and meet standard service times.
• Repair and replace tires, brakes, and suspension components.
• Conduct electrical and ABS troubleshooting & repairs.
• Weld and fabricate using steel and aluminum.
• Take on road service calls and company vehicle repairs.
• Keep shop clean, safe, and efficient.
