Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 5H Surgical department. The role is part-time (12 hours/week) with a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM).

The candidate will provide patient care using the nursing process and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality outcomes. Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, Missouri RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and ability to meet

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (BSN, ADN, or Diploma Program).
• Current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure required. Must meet state board of nursing requirements.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or course completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinates patient care with other departments.
