Job summary

ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking a part-time RN to provide direct patient care in a 12-hour weekly shift pattern (5:30pm–6:00am) with every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday coverage. This role is not eligible for benefits.

You will use the nursing process, collaborate with the interprofessional team, and uphold patient safety while delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• BSN completion required within five years of hire if not BSN at hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process and evidence-based practice to assess patients and develop a care plan with the interprofessional team.
• Collaborates with the team to plan patient care for high-quality outcomes.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise across required RN functions, age-appropriate and culturally sensitive.
• Identifies ways to improve patient experience, streamline care, and reduce costs while ensuring quality.
• Contributes to a mentoring, engaging professional environment to retain expert clinicians.
• Provides consultation and maintains positive relationships with physicians and team members to solve problems.
• Demonstrates risk anticipation and proactive management in crises.
