Job summary

Town Pump, Inc. is seeking a motivated overnight Store Clerk to join our Missoula team. You will deliver friendly customer service, handle cash, stock shelves, price items, and maintain store cleanliness and safety during night hours.

You will also operate the cash register, assist with deli duties in smaller locations, answer phone calls, protect the store from loss, and report issues to the manager. Town Pump offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to operate cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping and restocking duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, cash handling and accounting, stocking, pricing, rotating and displaying merchandise, housekeeping and store safety.
• Operate computerized cash register, give correct change, scan credit cards, accept checks and bag merchandise.
• Remember regular customers’ names, answer phones, deter shoplifting and handle complaints.
• Stock shelves and coolers, complete shift tasks, clean all areas, handle vendor check-in and policy compliance.
• Sweep the lot, shovel snow, clean gas pumps, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain cleanliness of hot dog roller, nacho and popcorn machines, condiment center, coffee and fountain areas.
• Perform deli duties as needed in smaller locations.
