Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to join our store team. You will contribute to a fresh, welcoming shopping experience by stocking, merchandising, and assisting customers across Fresh departments.

You’ll build connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and ensure displays are full and attractive. This role supports multiple departments and requires reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
