Meijer is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked and ready for customers, delivering a friendly shopping experience. The role involves stocking products, moving stock from pallets to shelves, backroom cleanup, and collaborating with store leadership to keep areas on schedule.

The position emphasizes teamwork, reliable adherence to processes, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment, with overnight shifts to prepare the store for each day’s customers.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back rooms.
• Work with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
