Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. in Worcester, MA is seeking a Stocker to load, unload, move, and open cases, then stock shelves by reviewing UPC codes. The role emphasizes punctuality, teamwork, safety, and a willingness to learn. Warehouse experience is preferred. Schedule is 4 nights, 10-hour shifts from 8:30pm to 7:00am, on-site.

Ideal candidates bring reliability and basic computer skills; prior warehouse exposure is a plus for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills – able to login and follow simple instructions.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and numbers.
• Ability to write and speak simple sentences in English.
• Basic arithmetic (add/subtract; multiply/divide by 10s and 100s).

Responsibilities

• Reads carton labels or follows verbal requests to ascertain cases to be moved.
• Cuts open cases of product with knife cutter provided.
• Ensure accurate cutting and stocking of items, verify condition, SKU, quantity and serial numbers.
• Match carton label to rack label and load materials onto racks in appropriate slots.
• Counts and records number of cases cut and stocked on daily production sheet.
• Stacks or assembles materials not used onto carts; meet productivity and accuracy standards.
