Job summary

Hannaford in Rochester, NH is seeking an Assistant Stock Crew Manager to support the Third Shift Center Store team and help meet store goals. You will assist with staffing, training, stocking, pricing, and conveying a strong customer-service culture.

You will work overnight or early morning shifts, lead department associates, and ensure safety, productivity, and adherence to company standards while maintaining product quality and display integrity.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct the department associates.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Ability and availability to work overnight or early morning shifts as applicable.
• Forklift and power jack training completed or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring, training and developing associates to meet department needs.
• Assist maintaining staffing, scheduling, and financial results as assigned.
• Cut, mark and stock product, as required.
• Use good judgment in the assignment, delegation and follow-up for the efficient performance of the department.
• Treat all associates with fairness, dignity and respect. Provide recognition of accomplishments and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
• Role-model appropriate workplace behavior.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain solid communication within the department and throughout the organization.
• Maintain the department compliance with pricing and inventory procedures.
• Ensure that productivity levels are at or above company standards.
