Job summary

Trinity Health Oakland is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts in a 497-bed teaching hospital with a level II trauma center. The RN will manage patient care, coordinate with the care team and lead through the nursing process, ensuring quality outcomes.

Requirements include Michigan RN licensure, ACLS/BCLS, ENCP, PALS and NICU/NICU certifications as applicable, plus at least two years of med/surg or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' work experience as an RN on a medical/surgical unit or ICU/CCU.
• Current Michigan RN license.
• ACLS certification required for ER/ICU/CCU and related areas.
• BCLS certification required for bedside inpatient care.
• ENCP certification required for RN Care Managers in ER.
• PALS certification required for Ambulatory Surgery Center and PACU.
• NRC certification required for NICU and Labor & Delivery.
• Excellent customer service orientation and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care during designated timeframes and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Lead and evaluate care plans using the nursing process and environment.
• Support Shared Governance and promote patient-centered service.
