Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year recent experience in mother/baby care or KP FCC training within the last 12 months.
• Licensed California RN.
• BLS and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser policies and procedures.
• Lead the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop individualized care plans and monitor progress.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and effective pain control.
• Document nursing interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and customer service standards.
