Job summary

Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the care team and brighten patients’ days. You will perform basic patient care, assist with hygiene, transport patients, and help monitor vital signs in a safe, supportive community environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required for adult maneuvers (child/infant may be required).
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
