Job summary

Securitas Global Clients America in the Boston/Cambridge area is seeking a Security Officer for multiple overnight sites.

You will monitor premises, enforce policies, manage access, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service. Attention to detail and calmness under pressure are essential.

Shifts run 11pm–7am or 12am–8am with a pay rate of $20.00–$24.00 per hour, and we offer comprehensive benefits. Join a team committed to safety and service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong observational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and patrol to identify hazards.
• Verify access and issue visitor passes for authorized personnel.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, including medical or security threats.
• Document incidents and observations accurately.
• Perform routine facility patrols and monitor entrances/exits.
• Provide directions and assistance to employees and visitors.
• Identify safety risks and report potential hazards.
• Address disturbances calmly and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Collaborate with team and site management as needed.
