Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Hospital Site in Atlanta, GA. You will provide unarmed security, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism and calm.

This full-time role requires 3+ years of security-related experience or a college degree, and hospital vaccination compliance. CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred; a background check and drug screen may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or a college degree.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply state by state.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and grounds to detect unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting concerns of unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, systematic manner per post orders and escalation steps.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports and share relevant information with leadership and site contacts.
