Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Day Lead custodian about needs and events.
• Demonstrates proper safety and handling of cleaning products and chemicals.
• Thoroughly cleans assigned areas in the building.
• Moves furniture and equipment for events or maintenance.
• Replaces light bulbs in classrooms and corridors as needed.
• Keeps grounds free of rubbish and maintains an attractive building exterior.
• Removes snow and ice and applies salt/ice melt at entrances.
• Learns building cleaning and maintenance procedures as needed.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and climb a ladder.
