Job summary

Arden Park Post Acute in Sacramento, CA is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor / Admissions Nurse for the NOC shift to lead our nursing team and supervise admissions, patient care, and daily operations.

The role requires an active RN license, BSN preferred, and at least 2 years of nursing and supervisory experience; you will coordinate with the DON, ADON, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to maintain regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience.
• Minimum 2+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in resident care delivery.
• Perform skilled nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy.
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care.
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions.
• Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding care plans.
• Ensure timely lab orders, results, and follow-ups.
• Communicate updates with residents and their families.
• Supervise LVNs/LPNs, CNAs, and treatment nurses; provide coaching and feedback.
• Participate in staff orientation and ongoing training.
• Identify staffing needs and assist with scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and participate in quality initiatives.
