Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN is seeking a skilled nurse to apply the nursing process to plan and implement patient care on a night shift unit. The role emphasizes patient/family education, goal setting, and ensuring safe, effective care across the continuum.

You will join the Myelosuppression/Stem Cell Transplant team, caring for adults 17+, including stem cell therapies and transplant patients, with 36 hours per week, three nights per week.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing is required.
• Experience in hematology/ stem cell transplant settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates delivery across the continuum.
• Analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnoses and priorities.
• Continuously evaluates patient progress and applies appropriate interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes health and a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
