Job summary

Lourdes Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift (12 hours) on-site at 1600 Haddon Ave. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care with delegation of tasks to the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.
• Participates in clinical decision-making.
• Educates patient and family regarding disease process, individual care needs and safety issues.
• Delegates and monitors care rendered by other members of nursing department and healthcare team.
• Participates in orientation, education and development of healthcare team.
• Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities.
• Maintains professional and departmental level competencies.
