Job summary

vTech Solution in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Respiratory unit, with telemetry expertise and Epic EMR proficiency, to cover night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The role includes care on Med-Surg units as needed, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and ED boarders.

Must have Ohio RN license and BLS certification; ability to read telemetry and manage medications will be essential for quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio RN license.
• (Minimum) 3 years telemetry/stepdown experience.
• Proficient with Epic EMR (no refresher training).
• Current BLS certification.
• Able to read telemetry and cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on the Respiratory unit and other Med-Surg units as needed.
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information and care activities in Epic EMR.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies for safety and quality.
• Participate in unit-specific quality improvement initiatives.
