Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) in the Maywood area near Chicago is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for a full-time night shift role. This 12-hour night shift position includes leadership duties, patient-flow coordination, and collaboration with Nurse Managers and physicians to ensure optimal care delivery.

Ideal candidates have five years of nursing experience, a BSN or ADN, BLS certification, and an active Illinois nursing license.

Qualifications

• Five years of nursing experience.
• BLS Provider required prior to hire.
• Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and support to patient care units through facilitation and coordination of patient flow and bed utilization.
• Establishes positive working relationships with Nurse Managers, Charge nurses and physicians to evaluate current and future requirements for optimal patient flow.
• Facilitates transfers from other facilities through prompt triaging to the appropriate clinical service.
