Job summary

Required: Associate's degree in nursing and NC or Compact-state RN license; BLS CPR certification. Minimum 1 year as RN; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS (CPR) certification by American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse.
• Preferred 1 year in a clinical specialty as defined by ANCC or national nursing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient needs and conditions to deliver nursing care in assigned unit.
• Analyzes patient information to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Prepares nursing processes, medications, and treatments for patient care.
• Reconciles medical records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and adjusts care as needed.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team for effective care planning.
